My Top 5 Tips for Lockdown

So Brisbane is in yet another 3 day snap lockdown.  The Brightside…part of this lockdown is over the weekend! So what are you going to do for your 3 day lockdown?  Today and tomorrow we are starting to make our little one a “mud kitchen” for her 2nd Birthday coming up, I also plan to do a bit of meal prepping and backing for the week and on Monday and Tuesday I am now going to be working in the clinic taking online consultations…To book a telehealth appointment during lockdown click here.

So let’s look at this lockdown as a positive. Here are my top tips for this Lockdown:

1.       Lockdown is over the weekend, make the most of some good quality family time.

2.       Use this as an opportunity to meal prep for the week, this will help you in making healthier choices.

3.       Try something new! Whether it’s a new recipe, a new activity at home or starting a new project, just give it ago and get the whole family involved.

4.       The weather is literally spectacular this weekend, GET OUTSIDE and soak up the Vitamin D, boost your immune system through the Sun! (I’ve been weeding and I’m actually wearing summer clothes for the first time in months today!)

5.       Take a break to just stop, relax and enjoy slowing down for a bit, life is way too busy and if this virus has taught the world anything, it’s to slow down and stop living such a fast paced life!
